Everyone doing all right? No colds going around?
Last night, with a bunch of Roadster friends who came together on the spur of the moment (?), we held the **“Kobe Yakai” night gathering**!
Man, was it cold! It really was properly freezing.
But it turned into a night hot enough to blow all that cold away.
🌃 10:00 PM — A Spectacular Photo Session in the Freezing Cold
We met up at 10:00 at night.
Normally that is the hour when you would be curled up under the kotatsu heated table, but a bunch of true enthusiasts turned out (haha).
As Kazuyoshi said himself:
That is exactly it! On winter nights the air is stretched tight and clear, so the night view sparkles even more than usual.
The Kobe cityscape in the background, and the glossy body lines of the Roadsters… the finest side dish you could ask for.

So what does the scene actually look like?
“Grown adults with cameras, shooting for dear life (haha).”
Honestly, everybody is crawling flat on the ground, twisting into strange poses, all desperate to capture their beloved car at its very coolest.
Sniffling, fingers numb with cold, and still hitting the shutter!
From the outside we might look like a suspicious bunch, but this is exactly what makes it fun.
👋 Shivering Goodbyes, and On to the Next One…
I would love to say we got so absorbed in shooting that we lost all track of time… but in the end, there is no beating the cold (haha).
“In the end we broke up safely, shivering all the way.”
Don't catch a cold, everyone — get home, soak in a hot bath and warm right up!
And guess what, about this Yukai of ours…
…so we are told!
Next time we will have to plaster ourselves with heat packs and show up in full armour.
