If the symbol of Nagata is Tetsujin 28-go,
then the symbol of Kobe is a night view that glitters like jewels.

"Jewel of Kobe" is an event for sharing
that special moment with friends — when the sunset-tinted sky
slowly turns indigo and, one by one,
the lights of the city begin to glow.

From this place that represents Kobe,
we want to share the charm of this city
more and more, through our Roadsters.
We want you to love this city even more than you already do.

Feel the sea breeze and the comfort of open-air motoring,
and let's enjoy a Kobe twilight together.

* Limited to vehicles that meet Japanese safety standards and pass shaken (vehicle inspection). Illegally modified vehicles are not permitted.

About our safety measures
This event is held after prior consultation with the Hyogo Prefectural Police (Ikuta Police Station) and the Kobe City Fire Bureau.
On the day, police officers and security staff will patrol the venue. Please join us with peace of mind.

Q.It is my first time. Will I be okay?
Of course you will!
About half of our participants are attending for the first time.
We receive lots of comments like "It's my first time, looking forward to it!"

Coming on your own, or travelling from far away, is very welcome too.
Our whole staff will give you a warm welcome, so please come along.

Meeting people who love Roadsters as much as you do
is one of the real joys of this event.
We hope you make plenty of new friends!

There is time to spare before the taiko drum performance at 3:00 PM
and the rock-paper-scissors tournament at 6:00 PM,
so do take the chance to explore the streets of Kobe in between!
Cars may only enter and leave at set times, but people are free to come and go.
Q.What is the schedule and entry time on the day?
Once your registration is complete, before the event we will email you
your arrival time and an area map (PDF).

To ease congestion, entry is split across four time slots.
We will let you know which slot you are in separately, so please wait a little longer.
Q.What time does the event finish?
Departure begins at 8:30 PM, with everyone out by 9:30 PM.
Times may shift a little depending on the traffic signals at the venue exit.

Please note that cars may only enter and leave at set times,
but people are free to come and go!
Do stroll around the venue during the event as well,
and enjoy everything the city of Kobe has to offer!
Q.Can I take part if I am coming from far away?
You are more than welcome!
As of March 5 we have received entries from all over Japan, from Tohoku to Kyushu.

It is a special event where Roadsters can gather
amid the beautiful scenery of the Kobe port side.
We would love for you to make the trip!
Q.I am wondering about the age range. Can anyone take part, whatever their age?
There is no age limit, and first-timers are very welcome!
Our participants span a wide age range, from people in their 20s to their 60s.

If you love Roadsters,
that is all you need. Please come along!
Q.The number of passengers with me might change
If anything changes, please let us know by replying to your confirmation email.
We ask about this simply to get a rough idea of how many people will attend.

Coming on your own or with passengers is of course perfectly fine.
Family members arriving by train are very welcome too!

Q.My license plate is going to change
If your license plate changes,
please let us know the new number.
We use it to check you in at reception on the day.

Q.I am worried about traffic around the venue
This event is held in cooperation with the venue operator, the Hyogo Prefectural Police and the local business associations.
That is why entry is split across four time slots,
keeping congestion around the venue and the impact on our neighbours to a minimum.
Please help us by arriving at your assigned time!

We will email you your arrival time before the day.
If your email address has changed, our message will not reach you.
If anything changes, please be sure to let us know in advance!

Q.My car is modified. Can I still take part?
There is no problem as long as it stays within Japanese safety standards (shaken-compliant).

Illegally modified vehicles — non-compliant exhausts, improper lighting,
ride heights below the legal limit and so on — are not admitted,
but modifications that remain shaken-compliant are very welcome.
Q.I applied to be a volunteer. What happens next?
Thank you so much!
Our volunteers are valued companions
who help us build KRM's events together.

Volunteers have a different arrival time from general participants.
If we ask for your help, we will email you your arrival time and role separately.

If we receive a large number of applications,
we may need to make a selection, taking factors such as where you live into account.
Thank you for your understanding.

Q.What happens if there is an accident or trouble during the event?
For trouble or accidents between participants,
we ask that the parties involved resolve the matter themselves.
The organizer (KRM) cannot accept any liability,
so please understand this in advance.

Just in case, we strongly recommend taking out voluntary car insurance.

In an emergency, please speak to a member of the venue staff
or call 110 for the police.
This event is held in cooperation with the Hyogo Prefectural Police and Ikuta Police Station.
Q.How should I look after my valuables?
The venue (Takahama Wharf, Kobe) is a commercial facility,
so many members of the public come and go.

While your car is on display with the top down, the interior is in plain view.
Please do not leave valuables around the seats.

We recommend locking valuables in the trunk
or carrying them with you.

The organizer cannot accept responsibility for theft or loss.
Please look after your valuables yourself.
