This is the KRM Organizing Office.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, we were able to hold jewel of Kobe ~2026spring~ safely and successfully.
More than 120 Roadsters from 27 prefectures across Japan gathered at Takahama Wharf, Kobe.
From the morning entry right through to the evening illuminations, the entire day became a time none of us will forget.
To every one of you who joined us, thank you so very much.
In this article we bring you the day itself, in video and photographs.
120 Roadsters Filled the Waterfront
Through the morning, guided by our staff, Roadsters streamed into the venue one after another.
Red, green, black, yellow, white —
the sight of Roadsters in every color forming a line toward Takahama Wharf was, on its own, enough to make your heart swell.
Against the backdrop of the harbor cranes, NA, NB, NC, ND and RF stood in neat rows, one generation beside the next.
From Miyagi in the north to Kumamoto in the south. So many people spent hours on the road to reach us from far away.
"I'm glad I came, even from that far."
Every time we heard those words, we felt in our hearts that we had chosen the right place.
The Taiko Drums of "Daichi" Ring Out Across the Port
Our special guests this time: the members of "Daichi (DAICHI)", the taiko drum club of Suma Shofu High School.
On a stage beneath Port Tower, with the cruise ship "Concerto" behind them —
the students, dressed in red and black, filled the whole harbor with the powerful sound of their drums.
The climax, with arms swung high.
It was a performance so powerful that the vibration of the drums reached the very core of your body.
Many spectators watched over us from the second-floor deck as well, and in that moment the whole venue became one.
To everyone in "Daichi", thank you for such a wonderful performance.
Roadsters and taiko drums — an unexpected pairing that produced the very best kind of chemistry.
Unveiling the KRM Flag
There was one more big story on the day.
The unveiling of the official KRM flag, bearing the logo "KOBE ROADSTER MEETING EST. 2025".
Carrying the sponsorship logo of Kobe Mazda as well, this flag is a symbol of what lies ahead for KRM.
The moment it was raised, warm applause rose up from the venue.
Kobe Mazda gave us tremendous help not only through their sponsorship but also with their display and support on the day.
We offer them our heartfelt thanks.
From Day into Night — Across the Whole Day
The charm of jewel of Kobe lies in the way the harbor changes its expression as the hours pass.
Under the blue midday sky, the opening ceremony and the flag unveiling brought everyone to life.
The afternoon brought the taiko performance and time for participants to mingle freely.
And then came the evening —
Lit by the setting sun, the venue showed us a face completely different from its daytime one.
Hoods stained orange. Port Tower reduced to a silhouette.
There were even moments when staff members found themselves hugging one another.
And then, night.
Roadsters standing quietly against the illuminated Port Tower and Ferris wheel.
It was the most jewel-like moment of the entire day.
Thank You, Everyone
Finally, please let us pass on a great deal of gratitude.
To the owners of the 120-plus cars who joined us.
Thank you for making the journey to Kobe from all over the country.
Your smiles and your beloved cars are what created this scene.
To all our volunteer staff.
From setting up early in the morning, to guiding cars in, all the way through to breaking everything down.
Without your devoted support, this event simply could not have happened.
To everyone in "Daichi", the taiko drum club of Suma Shofu High School.
The sound of your drums across the harbor must be etched deep into the memory of every participant.
To Kobe Mazda.
You gave us your full backing, through sponsorship, your display and your support.
To everyone in the neighborhood around the venue.
We know there were moments when we caused you some inconvenience on the day.
Thank you for watching over us so warmly.
And finally —
a "well done" to KRM representative Omori and every member of the organizing team.
The staff group photo, taken holding the KRM flag with Port Tower lit up behind us, is a treasure we will keep for life.
